#14 EDUCATION (Article)

Hey!

I hope that everyone is having a great day today, especially since its the last Ten days of Ramadhan!
Reminder to self 😌
P/s: Have you guys finished searching for your Eid's Apparel? Honestly, i do like going on for shopping, because that is just what girls do. But, i just don't fancy going for shopping on the last 10 days of Ramadhan, because aren't we suppose to increase our worships towards Allah?

Anyways,,

Well, yesterday i just came back from an English Writing workshop in INFRA.
Of course, i learnt A LOT from it,
I was given so many new information and tips which astounds me to answer my IGCSE this upcoming OCTOBER!!!

So, in conjunction for my english holiday task, i just feel like making a SCHOOL ARTICLE.
I really my teacher doesn't mind.
Plus, my article might be published in the school magazine aight?

So, for my first task

  1. Should education be free for everyone?

FREE EDUCATION?
Giving free education to everyone is hard. Especially looking at the government's capability in providing everyone just that free of everything. when we talk about free education, it is very wide. Whether they don't have to pay for their tuition fees (paying teachers to be exact) or for their materials or accommodations.

In my opinion, what the government's currently doing is good enough. In which they give scholarships and some sort of BRIM to students who can't afford to pay. Because imagine the consequences if the government were to pay for everything the school supplies. Its just not enough for everyone. From electrical bills, to study materials to tuition fees.

It is logical to give totally free education to kids such as refuges in Syria and Palestine. But,imagine the sons and daughters of  rich people getting free classes, free materials. Well, some of them might have appreciated it. But, in contrast. Usually people take free things for granted. They do not take free tings as seriously as thing that needs to be paid. Thus, i think it is not wise to give just free education to everyone.

However, many people argue that education should be free to everyone. Accessible no matter who you are. Your colour, your social status and background. This may be true however who's going to pay for all fees? Currently, having educational websites that shares info's with everyone is good enough in giving that 'free' education to everyone. But then. the main problems comes about the internet access. This is debatable.

However, i do strongly believe that when it comes to the higher education, such as the courses in university, the prices should be lowered or even subsidized. Yes, it might be easy for those 'unable' few who already got fully covered scholarship. Imagine having a family with decent wages which disqualifies you from getting a scholarship and has 5 kids. Paying university fees for 5 kids is man, buying 2 houses. Thus, this is when the government's duty comes in. They should make the subsidized the higher education fees by helping paying the fees, and NOT cutting salary of teachers.

In conclusion, education comes by in so many form. I hope that in the future, internet access is almost accessible to almost anyone so that they can have their hands on those free educational websites such as code.org Everyone in this world have to play their part and should take education seriously and not taking it for granted. Because education is what make us, us.
