#10 How Social Media Affects Us
#MYTENTHPOST
Well, I guess that this is probably the topic that most teenagers (including me) hates the most.
Because they can't just seem to accept the truth!
The fact that all these social media is just worsening our lifestyle in so many ways.
Examples of these are:
- Instagram (This one is so #related to me)
- Facebook (maybe some people still use this, but I rarely check my facebook account feeds)
- WhatsApp (This one is sometimes useful for online business uses, but also sometimes veryyy time consuming especially when you have a friend like mine who talks a LOT)
- MySpace (LOL, am I kidding or what? People normally don't use this MySpace thingy anymore, but I do π- I'm such an old granny)

So,, after heaing to a few TED talks, ive gained more ideas
We are currently living in the Modern, yet Smart era.
21st century childeren are said to being so LUCKY.
I acknowledge that :)
Everywhere you go, you do, you eat.....
People HAVE to know...
Honestly, it's not that people urged you to show them whatsoever you're currently doing,
But its the habit that makes people absurd and think that its okay to broadcast you personal life
I know I'm not a celebrity actress, singer, musician, dancer, or an instafamous or title they call....
But, I can feel the suffocation
Don't you think that it is just too much?
I'm not focusing this to all people,,
But, there are just some people in this generation that likes to boosts off whatever they eat, whatever results they got for exams, whatever broken feelings they have HERE.
LIKE,, I MEAN....
People, what is the use of god creating and giving us family, friends and parents???
They are the main people who you should be sharing your thoughts and problems too.
NOT THE WORLD!!!!
*Yeah, this blog is mainly the same thing. I'm sharing unnecessary things of my life here. Lol π
****All the above points are based on my thoughts on a few social media platforms such as Instagram -which i have one and i am currently an active user. But mostly i'm just seeing everyone's feed but haven't updated mine in quite a long time, Twitter -Which i also have one but don't really understand how you use it, and i think that its very suffocating to update and lastly Facebook- This also i have one, but haven't opened in almost a year! I honestly think that it is outdated and hard to use. Most adults use this nowadays,,,, i don't really understand why..
So, basically i'm returning to school son.
FINALLY
After 2 months break!!!
And guess what????
WE CAN BRING LAPTOPS TO SCHOOL!!!!
HOORAYYYYYπ’π₯π¦ππ
Honestly,, i'm scared.......
If i am going to overuse and abuse the usage of it...
This things nowadays are VERY dangerous...
And as always, the lust to watch movies always piles up :')
Dear friends, what are your thoughts about bringing smartphones to school. Or using tablets, laptops and gadgets as a new way of learning? DO drop out your thoughts on the comment section below ππ

- Quit social media | Dr. Cal Newport | TEDxTysons
- A year offline, what I have learned | Paul Miller | TEDxEutropolis
- How social media makes us unsocial | Allison Graham | TEDxSMU
"I've never had a social media accounts. I realized that it was dangerous. Even though i don't have a social media account, i'm okay. You don't have to worry. I'm still alive. It turns out i still have friends, i still know whats going on with the world as a computer scientist, I still collaborate with people all around the world, I;m still regularly exposed serendipitiously to interesting ideas and i rarely describe myself as lacking entertainment options. I think i'm better off social media. I think i'm happier. I think i find more sustainability in my life" -Dr. Cal Newport
WORD OF THE DAY:
Serendipitous is an adjective that describes accidentally being in the right place at the right time, like bumping into a good friend in some unusual location, or finding a hundred dollar bill on the ground.
Not every part of your private life needs to be public. -another Mr. Google
