#16 TECHNOLOGIES (Article)

Good morning pinky-pie squishies!

So, its 5 days before i'm going back to school and I still have TONS of work to be done.

Well, it's not because i have too many homework to be done, but I've just been procrastinating these pass 2-weeks :')

GOING ON

My 3rd task is:

1. Do you think the age of technologies turns us into zombies?

IS TECHNOLOGY HELPING OR KILLING?

Living up to the 21st century is hard. With technologies and trends to keep up to. If you're not into it, then you're out of the game. IT companies are getting a lot of profits by manipulating people's minds. Imagine living a day without internet,will it kill you?

Most of our daily lives involves technologies. Cars, mobile phones, surveillance cameras. Of course, they are helping us a lot in our daily lives activities. But, being addicted to YouTube, Twitter, Facebook to the fact that you don't even realized that its already noon is something not normal. Back up to September of this year when a young man was killed on a San Francisco subway train. The alleged shooter waved a handgun around for several minutes, at one point wiping his nose with it, before deciding on a random victim to shoot, according to yet-to-be released subway surveillance video. The remarkable thing about the tragedy is that every passenger in the subway car was on their phone. No one noticed the deranged shooter until after he fired his gun.

Well, after all technology can kill people.

In my view, its hard choosing on one side. Since technology is doing both helping and killing human at the same time.

However, in my honest opinion, technology is killing people. And thus wraps my thoughts that it is a bad thing. People's lives are very precious. And how can technology, a thing that mankind created kill its own creator? How do they kill? People driving while playing on smartphones and a car accident occurs. Cyber-bullying. The example i just stated above. Not only kills, but it is also a highly addictive drug to people. An easy example, when you go to someone's house for eid celebration, you'll most likely to see teenagers on their smartphones and not interacting with guests or relatives.

In conclusion, technologies are making human zombies. Making us addicted to it just like how zombies are addicted to blood. Making us killing each other and being ignorant to one another. My only tip in surviving this technology-apocalypse is, always control yourself and be aware of your surroundings.
